So I don’t know what exactly I’m doing, getting yet another blog thing (apart from my LiveJournal, same username) that I’ll probably end up neglecting at some point down the line.
Be glad it’s this theme, at least. I could have gone with the bananas. There’s nothing wrong with bananas, actually, it’s just that they’re not quite what I was looking for (except that they were).
Now for the good stuff. I’m going to school with the eventual aim of becoming a librarian, and have a tendency to try my hand at writing every year, with my one big project being NaNoWriMo. I’ve only won once, but there’s always a first time that typically leads to more. Excepting the avenues of (well, usually) amputation, death, and voluntary severe blood loss when not in a hospital environment.
All of which could go hand in hand, for the right price or the right kink.
So, to anyone who reads this: rewrite Scorpion Liquor, start on a suburban fantasy sort of thing, or go extra morbid and try to combine several genres in order to get something fresh? I think scifi/fantasy/mystery/detective would have an intriguing plotline…
