Well, it seems like I’m going to knit my friend Kelly a scarf for Christmas– and watching a lot of movies in the process, considering that I have little time. Fortunately, it’s an easily memorized pattern and something I can do while watching a DVD, sitting on the couch, and having a 20lb cat decide my lap is the perfect place for a nap and only it will do.
His merping threat is that if I don’t let him have my lapspace, he will do terrible things in the closet.
Fortunately, I like to hold my knitting relatively high.
Also, via my creative writing class, I’ve found out that I am not a short story writer. I am a worldbuilder, and a maker of plots that cannot be compressed into 15 pages or less. I am a person who needs to realize that not everyone will understand what I’m trying to say, or find it too weird to bother with. Who knows, maybe I’ll have my own private NaNo in the summer.
