So! I joined the knitting olympics, and am going to be knitting the Hemlock Ring pattern within something like 17 days. Pretty sure today counts as Day One.
Now, this is for fun. It’s not a serious competition, there’s no prize for first place, and it isn’t something that one should dissolve into tears for just because they’re still on round 34 and there’s a big test tomorrow and they don’t want to disappoint the Great Knitting Gods or something.
At the same time, I’ve been wanting to knit this for a while, and due to a friend’s winter holiday gift I have the yarn for it in a lovely sort of pumpkin spice color.
Currently, I’m on row 6. I think. Maybe.
